Hyosung ADV 250 Arrives in Nepal as the Brand Makes Its Return

Hyosung has officially made its comeback in the Nepali motorcycle market with the arrival of the Hyosung ADV 250, marking the Korean brand’s return after more than a decade.

Previously known for models such as the RT 125 and GV 250, Hyosung had built a strong enthusiast following in Nepal. With the ADV 250, the brand now enters the growing adventure touring segment, with pricing yet to be announced. 

The relaunch is led by Evoque Nepal Pvt. Ltd., the sole authorized distributor of Hyosung motorcycles in Nepal, with its showroom located at Uttardhoka, Kathmandu. Evoque Nepal aims to re-establish the brand with a focus on product quality, customer confidence, and long-term after-sales support.

Hyosung remains a Korean motorcycle brand at its core, recognized for solid engineering and reliable performance. Manufacturing support comes from Jinan Qingqi KR Motors Co., Ltd., a joint venture between KR Motors of Korea and Jinan Qingqi of China. 

The Hyosung ADV 250 is the first model to arrive in Nepal under this renewed strategy. Designed as an adventure tourer, it targets riders looking for a versatile motorcycle capable of handling city traffic, long highway rides, and rougher road conditions common in Nepal.

The ADV 250 features a 7-inch TFT digital display, an adventure-ready cockpit with an adjustable windscreen, and touring-focused handlebar ergonomics for improved comfort and control. High ground clearance and an upright riding position further support its all-road usability.

Power comes from a 248 cc, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 8-valve, 60-degree V-twin engine producing 25.2 bhp at 9,500 rpmand 20 Nm at 7,000 rpm, paired with a six-speed gearbox and EFI. The motorcycle meets Euro 5+ emission standardsand offers a claimed top speed of over 128 km/h.

Chassis hardware includes upside-down front forks, a rear monoshock, and dual-channel ABS with disc brakes at both ends. The ADV 250 offers 230 mm of ground clearance, an 820 mm seat height, a 13-litre fuel tank, and a claimed fuel consumption of 2.9 L/100 km, reinforcing its touring and adventure focus.

Evoque Nepal has stated that it is extensively testing its motorcycles in real Nepali conditions, gathering customer feedback, and fine-tuning products before full-scale market rollout.
